Taxes
From BarterPlan Ebook
There are many countries in the world. Some of them may not even have taxes. Or paperwork. But in the USA, there is both. And when those three meet barter, there is a serious recognition of a type of income. It is for this reason that barter income must be reported on the 1099-b. For more information see IRS topic 420
The good news is, barter can also be used to pay business expenses such as travel, accounting services, consulting, web development, printing, and the rest. See a tax professional to learn what costs can be deducted from your income, and see if you can barter for these items. Important note, your author is not a tax professional so seek qualified advice before making tax related decisions.
